How Campaigns & The X-Vault Work in Planet-X
If you're new to Planet-X, the Campaign and X-Vault systems can seem overwhelming at first. Between instant-win prizes, X-Tokens, hunt streak requirements, raffles, Golden X-Safes, and weekly rewards, there are several different ways to win prizes. This guide explains exactly how Campaigns work, how prizes are awarded, and the different ways you can earn rewards throughout the week.
Campaigns Explained
Campaigns are the primary reward system in Planet-X.
Each Campaign lasts for one week and contains a collection of prizes that players can win through hunting, extracting, and participating in various reward systems. Campaigns are divided into daily rounds.
At the start of every new round (day):

Players have a new opportunity to earn rewards
A weekly Campaign contains seven rounds, with each round lasting one day.
The Five Ways to Win Rewards
There are five primary reward systems within a Campaign:
Each system works differently, so let's break them down individually.
Instant-Win Prizes
The simplest rewards are instant-win prizes. If you discover one of these prizes during a hunt and successfully extract it, the reward is yours immediately. Simply find it and extract.
Digital Instant-Win Prizes
Many rewards are digital items, such as:

Weapon skins

Lootboxes
-
Lootbox Keys
-
Seeka Eggs
-
Other digital collectibles
When you successfully extract one of these items, it is minted immediately and added to your game account. You can view it inside your X-Armoury right after extraction.
Physical Instant-Win Prizes
Some Campaign rewards are physical items. These prizes are also awarded immediately upon successful extraction. However, instead of appearing in your X-Armoury, they will appear on your winnings page where you can later request delivery.
X-Vault Rewards
The X-Vault is a reward store that allows players to exchange X-Tokens for prizes. Unlike instant-win prizes, you don't find X-Vault rewards directly — you extract X-Tokens from hunts and spend them in the X-Vault store.
Finding X-Tokens
X-Tokens can be discovered during hunts just like other loot. As you extract X-tokens, they are added to your available balance and can be spent inside the X-Vault.
X-Tokens Reset Every Hour
One of the most important things to understand is that X-Tokens are temporary. Any X-Tokens you extract will reset every hour. This means you generally want to spend them as quickly as possible rather than saving them for later. Waiting too long could cause your unused tokens to disappear before you've exchanged them for rewards.
Prize Tiers
X-Vault prizes are divided into three rarity tiers:

Rare

Legendary
Higher-tier prizes generally require more X-Tokens and may have additional requirements, for example, hunt streak. Even if you have enough X-Tokens to purchase a prize, you may need to reach a specific Hunt Streak before becoming eligible to claim it. Use our Hunt Streak Calculator to grow your streak faster!
Limited Inventory
X-Vault prizes are available in limited quantities. Once a reward's copies are claimed, it's gone until the next round. Popular rewards can disappear fast!
Weekly Mega Prize
Every Campaign also includes a special weekly Mega Prize. Rather than being awarded instantly, the Mega Prize is distributed through a raffle system. While hunting, players can discover Golden Tickets. Each Golden Ticket acts as one raffle entry for the Campaign's weekly Mega Prize.
The more Golden Tickets you find, the more entries you receive. At the end of the Campaign, a winner is selected from all eligible entries.
Daily Raffles
In addition to Golden Tickets and the weekly Mega Prize, Campaigns also feature daily raffles. These raffles are tied to special ticket items that can be discovered during hunts. Each raffle uses its own ticket type.
For example, one day may feature a Pink Ticket raffle, while the next day could feature a Green Ticket raffle. Players who find the appropriate ticket during that day's round receive an entry into that raffle.
When the round ends, a winner is selected from all valid entries. Because raffle types can change from day to day, it's worth paying attention to the active rewards for the current round.
Golden X-Safes
Finally, the weekly Golden X-Safes add another layer of progression to Campaign rewards. Rather than finding a single item, you'll need to collect multiple components before you can claim a reward.
Step 1: Collect the Three Components
To become eligible to open a Golden X-Safe, you must find all three required items:

Bio Disk

Hack Chip
-
Quantum Pick
Each component can be found during hunts, and expire at the start of a new week.
Step 2: Find a Golden X-Safe
After collecting all three components, you'll still need to locate one of the Golden X-Safes hidden within the hunt. Finding the components alone is not enough. You must also discover an actual X-Safe.
Step 3: Extract Successfully
Once you've opened the X-Safe and claimed its contents, you'll need to successfully extract to secure the reward. Only then is the prize officially yours. Because several steps are involved, Golden X-Safes typically contain a higher rarity prize!
Putting It All Together
A typical day in Planet-X might look something like this:
You enter a hunt and collect X-Tokens, discover a raffle ticket, and maybe even find a valuable instant-win reward. After extracting, you immediately receive any instant-win prizes you've secured. You can then spend your X-Tokens in the X-Vault before they reset, potentially claiming a limited-quantity reward. At the same time, any raffle tickets you've found give you entries into active daily or weekly drawings.
Throughout the week, you may also collect Golden Ticket entries for the Mega Prize or gather the components needed to open a Golden X-Safe. All of these systems operate simultaneously, creating multiple opportunities to earn rewards every time you enter a hunt.
